• Application Notifications: Relaying course progress, grading feedback, direct messages from instructors, and class announcements.

3. Opt-in Process & Consent

By creating an account and explicitly opting into our terms upon sign-up, you consent to receive the aforementioned required operational emails. We do not purchase email lists or send unsolicited bulk emails. We guarantee that all emails sent to you are triggered by your direct engagement with our platform features.

4. Handling Bounces and Complaints

We actively monitor our email sending health. Utilizing Brevo Email Service, we track all bounced emails and spam complaints.

• Bounces: If an email sent to you hard-bounces (i.e., your email address is invalid or non-existent), our system will automatically halt further email deliveries to that address to maintain a healthy sending reputation.

5. Unsubscribe Process

You maintain full control over your communication preferences. For non-essential notifications (e.g. course updates, messaging alerts), every email sent contains a clear and conspicuous "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom. Alternatively, you may adjust your email notification preferences directly from your account settings.
